On the config tab you can see the values of several configuration in your web.config.
In the screenshot below you can see the connectionstrings.
In the environment tab you can see the machine name, the operating system, version of .NET framework.
My favorite the execution tab. Here you can see what method’s are executed and the time elapsed.
Wops my routing isn’t good!!! No problem look at the routes tab and you see what route he has used.
You have a tab view as well. Here you can see what view are on the page, was it cached?
The only thing you have to do is add the nugget package to the project and turn it on in your web.config.
Just click right on your project and choice Add library package reference.
Search for Glimpse and click add.
Visual Studio will import all the necessary files, the only you have to is turn glimpse on in the config file.
The import added the code below in the web.config. Just turn the on attribute to true and you have tis wonderful tool at the bottom of your pages. Oh yeah if you don’t see a bar at the bottom, just look for the symbol of an greyed-out eye at the right bottom. Click that one and the bar will come out.
