Microsoft released the Service Pack 1 for CRM 2015 and together with that a lot of great improvements for the system. First one to discuss is the navigation.
The navigation in CRM 2015 could be a real pain in the ass. If you had a lot of entities you had to scroll from left to right to find the data you need.
That pain has come to end NOW.
Scrolling down on a contact form just see a specific tab for that contact. You also probably have lost a lot of time doing that??
Well that time can be used to make some great coffee.
Because now you can navigate directly to that tab by clicking on the icon next to the form title.
Not impressed? Me neither, there is still some work on user experience. Let continue with the great stuff.
The sitemap is totally redesigned and gives a great overview of all kinds of data available in the system. If you worked with CRM 2013 and 2015 before, you know the feeling of searching that one tile to open the cases or marketing lists. But now No more scrolling, No more searching, all your data right at your fingertips.
If you explore the sitemap everything is shown like the example below.
Even if you open a record and want to navigate to the related data, the same overview is provided.
I know we all were using the most recently items in the sitemap. No???
Hmm ok. Well that will change with this one.
In CRM 2015 SP1 there is a new button in the sitemap. Behind that all most recent opened items are summarized. You can pin items so those items are always available in this overview.
